Purac Scope: Anaerobic system

In 2019, Purac signed a contract with Shanghai Environmental Sanitation Engineering Design Institute Co., Ltd. Which is the procurement of anaerobic digestion and sludge dewatering system for the Jiading District wet waste resource utilization project. Purac is responsible for the design, supply, installation, and commissioning services of the anaerobic digestion and sludge dewatering system. The project was completed and entered into commissioning in December 2020. The project is located on the north side of the Jiading District waste incineration plant, west of Quantang Road and north of Guozetang, invested by Shanghai Environmental Group Co., Ltd.

Implementation Effect:?

The construction and implementation of the Jiading District wet waste resource utilization project will accelerate the planning and construction of wet waste treatment facilities in Shanghai. It provides a green and sustainable resource utilization solution for the insufficient end treatment capacity after garbage classification. It will also serve as a benchmarking demonstration for the treatment of wet waste after garbage classification in other provinces and cities.
