PURAC, founded in Sweden in 1956, has completed more than 5,000 contracts in more than 80 countries in the field of municipal organic waste treatment, municipal sewage and sewage sludge treatment, industrial wastewater treatment and the comprehensive utilization of green energy such as biogas.
PURAC Environmental System (Beijing) Co., Ltd. entered into China in 1993 when signed the Gaobeidian sewage treatment project contract. So far, it has implemented more than 170 projects such as restaurant waste, household waste, sewage sludge, municipal sewage, industrial wastewater, biogas utilization, etc. The project types cover Engineering Procurement Contract (EPC), design + equipment supply, process package provision and other modes.
Our core technologies focus on sustainability such as energy conservation and emission reduction, circular economy, and green energy, and has a number of patents and advanced technologies in these fields. We can combine national conditions, such as technical standards, laws and regulations, and actual conditions of project, also can provide cost-effective processes and added value for customers, so we got trust from the customers and won the renewal contract of several projects.
From 2014 to 2024, PURAC has been consecutively awarded as the leader of organic waste anaerobic treatment solution in the field of solid waste industry, and leader of sewage sludge anaerobic treatment solution in water industry by? an accredited third party.
Up to now, in China Purac has implemented organic waste treatment projects with total capacity of over 35000 tons/day, making contributions to peaking carbon emissions in 2030 and achieve carbon neutrality in 2060.
